More Than Volunteering
Service That Builds Leaders

At Men and Women of Vision, volunteer service is treated as leadership formation. We approach volunteerism as a leadership development practice. Our volunteers are trained, trusted, and supported to take on real responsibility — building skills, institutional knowledge, and readiness for leadership over time.
Service here is not transactional; it is developmental. Volunteers engage on a clear pathway toward stewardship, organizational leadership, and long-term impact — carrying both competence and care into the work that strengthens the organization and the communities we serve.
MWoV is a Certifying Organization, with a structured system for tracking, verifying, and recognizing service. Volunteer hours are documented, aligned with national service standards, and formally acknowledged — ensuring that service contributes to leadership readiness and produces recognized, transferable records of civic engagement.
Learn more about how service hours are tracked and recognized through our Volunteer Certification and Recognition page.
Partner With Us
MWoV partners with organizations and leaders who value alignment and accountability. Partnership may include:
- collaborative programming or initiatives
- shared learning and capacity-building efforts
- coordinated service delivery
- governance-aligned collaboration
We prioritize partnerships where expectations are clear and responsibility is shared from the start.
Leadership & Governance Opportunities
Men and Women of Vision maintains a structured pathway for individuals who are called to serve in leadership, governance, and committee roles.
We believe strong organizations are built by principled leaders who understand both service and stewardship. For that reason, all governance placements follow a thoughtful review and onboarding process led by our Governance & Nominating Committee.
If you are interested in contributing your time, experience, and insight at a leadership level, we invite you to begin the process below.
Stay Connected
Not every form of involvement requires a formal role. You can stay connected by:
